Hangcha

History of Hangcha

Hangcha Group (commonly known as Hangcha) was founded in China and began its journey as a small industrial equipment manufacturer focused on material handling solutions. In its early years, the company concentrated on producing basic forklifts to support China’s growing manufacturing and logistics sectors. With a strong emphasis on practicality and affordability, Hangcha quickly gained recognition in domestic markets for delivering reliable lift trucks suitable for warehouses, factories, and construction sites.

Early Formation & Industry

Hangcha Group was established in 1956 in China as part of the country’s early push to develop heavy industrial and manufacturing capabilities. At that time, China had very limited access to advanced material handling equipment, so Hangcha initially focused on producing simple, locally built forklifts and lifting machines to support state-owned factories, ports, and construction projects.
